Every so often, a piece of news comes along that we simply have to pause and share properly: Haus of Blaylock has been named a Finalist for the 2026 Interior Design Society Designer of the Year Awards, one of the industry’s most respected recognitions of design excellence.

Recognized in Two Categories

Our work has been selected as a finalist in not one, but two categories this year: Kitchen and Whole Home. Being recognized in either category is a milestone. Earning finalist status in both is a testament to the range and depth our team brings to every project, from the heart of the home to the home in its entirety.

What This Recognition Means to Us

The Interior Design Society draws submissions from talented designers across the country, and this year’s pool was especially competitive. Being named a finalist means our work stood out among an incredible field of design professionals, judged not just on beauty, but on craft, function, and the story each space tells.

For us, this isn’t just an award consideration. It’s validation of the approach we bring to every client relationship: listening first, designing with intention, and building homes that genuinely reflect the people who live in them.

The Road to Vegas

Finalists will be recognized live at the IDS Designer of the Year Awards Gala, held Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at The Bellagio in Las Vegas, the grand finale of the Interior Design Society’s annual national conference. Our team will be there in person to celebrate alongside design professionals and industry leaders from across the country.

We’ll be sharing the experience as it happens, so stay tuned for a look behind the scenes as the Gala approaches.

Thank You

None of this happens without the trust of our clients, who let us into their homes and their lives to create something meaningful together. This recognition belongs as much to them as it does to our team.

We can’t wait to share what happens next.
